He provides a “Gold Standard of Vein Care,” which includes being Long Island’s only Triple Board Certified General/Vascular Surgeon and Phlebologist (specialist in treating vein disease). This cutting edge facility offers the state-of-the-art minimally invasive technologies in the treatment of varicose and spider veins in Lake Success, New York.

After graduating from The University of Florida with honors, he received his medical school degree from The University of South Florida. Here he earned the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honorarium – given to the top tier of medical school graduates. He went on to complete a residency in General Surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, being honored as the outstanding Chief Resident upon graduation. After this training Dr. Schwartz went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Surgery, working among the world leaders in venous disease, becoming an Assistant Clinical Professor in Surgery.

In private practice, he has accumulated over 15 years of clinical experience in Vascular Surgery and the treatment of venous disorders. Dr. Schwartz has published articles relating to Vascular Surgery in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at major conferences across the country.

Dr. Schwartz is uniquely qualified to offer the very latest treatment options for varicose veins including the new minimally invasive Endovenous Laser Ablation.
